Waiting for the 14th of September...

So Yes, AlZaidi will be freed on the 14th of September, 2009. Al Zaidi’s Lawyer, Yaha al-Ittabi, was successful in convincing the judge that the charge should be changed from “Assault” to “insulting a foreign leader”; which makes so much sense. I mean, by the end of the day, Bush demonstrated good “Ducking” skills, and avoided the weapon of assault –AKA: Shoe.

The Shoes:

Debates and anger has been surrounding the flying shoes. Different firms have been proud to claim that they made those shoes. A shoe-producer in Turkey, and another in Lebanon, announced that they may have been responsible for the creation of this creatively used pair of shoes, while Al Zaidi’s brother was pretty sure when he proudly announced that this pair of shoes was made in IRAQ. Now this competition tells us something about how everyone feels about this, well, if not everyone, then most sane people...

OK... I think I might have gotten distracted from the main subject of discussion over here. So I’ll just get right back to it:

Muntathar AlZaidi:

Muntathar’s name means: The Awaited one... kind of expressive huh!!!

He was born in 1979, to a Shiite Iraqi family. Muntathar graduated from the University of Baghdad with a degree in communications, to work as a broadcast journalist in Al-Baghdadia T.V.. Muntathar made a habit out of showing the world the various stories of suffering of Iraqi families through the American Invasion on Iraq, and got arrested twice by American forces in Iraq.

So Yes, People; the man has been arrested before, for the act of expressing himself as a reporter, and got arrested lately, for the act of expressing himself as an angry Iraqi citizen -who has every right to be angry-.

On the 14th of September, this year, Muntathar will be released, and give Iraq a new date to celebrate their independence, away from all kinds of worldly hypocrisy...

3 years down to 1? That's more like a 2 thirds reduction. Great!

The longer Muntadar al-Zaidi stays in jail, the more his already considerable legend grows to the point, while not of Nelson Mandela status, that he will be a formidable force in his own right.

al-Zaidi should get the Medal of Honor for his actions. Chimpy was damn lucky it was not me, I would have been flinging hand grenades.

I certainly wouldn’t want to smell Bush on my shoes. The first thing I thought was awesome. Then I heard two shoes, double awesome.
This guy deserves a Nobel Prize.

Hahahahah, ”smell of Bush on my shoes” Priceless!
I laughed when I heard it was TWO shoes too.

We are still trying to get the stink of Bush out of the air around here too.
