American President Barak Obama paid Iraq a visit, to check up on his troops and talk to Iraqi leaders.

The visit was a surprise, as suspicions regarding what will be Obama’s last stop in his latest tour were distributed between Afghanistan and Iraq, but the decision settled on Iraq, reportedly due to its proximity to Turkey –Where Obama spent his last two days before his visit to Iraq-.
Obama announced that he has been against the Iraqi war all along, but will be careful while withdrawing the troops out of Iraq so that the withdrawal doesn’t cause an increase in violence; especially at the time when different reports have been announcing a drop in rate of violence, despite the fact that barely a day passes by without news of an explosion somewhere around Iraq.
This comes in the same period of time when US courts are actually in the process of prosecuting several soldiers for their different crimes in Iraq (murder and sexual assault) which happened during the soldiers’ presence on Iraqi land. So when the president says that: “You have given Iraq the opportunity to stand on its own as a democratic country. That is an extraordinary achievement and for that you have the thanks of the American people.”.... All I can say is: Euuuuhhhh.... Yea Right !!!
