Iraq :

132 Iraqis are dead, more than 500 are injured… Suicide bombers on Sunday caused this huge number of deaths and casualties.

Chaos in Iraq

Why and who would do something like this? Who knows! It could be absolutely anything and anyone:

-It could be some kind of a twisted message to the US forces who are preparing to withdraw from Iraq.

-It could be an intended disturbance and a call for reflection before the coming parliamentary elections, which are expected to be held in January, 2010.

-It could be another Sunnite- Shiite bloody conflict of fake power.

-It could be Baathists or anti-Baathists making some kind of a point.

Who knows?

And the chaos goes on as: 1) Al Maliki sends out his warnings and condemnations, while indirectly pointing to Syria’s involvement by sheltering Baathists who may be involved in the attacks (the same accusations sent out after the August 19 attacks against the finance and foreign ministries). 2) President Jalal Talabani warns neighboring and distant countries from helping those responsible of such attacks, also without naming any specifics.

Finger pointing goes on, US occupation goes on, and civilians’ killing goes on… It is a sad equation; The US forces came in and brought along all this chaos, finger pointing, and random civilian killing. It will leave soon (or not so soon) and probably leave it all behind… It will leave it all; all minus some oil, and thousands of lives.

Maybe its simply time to leave Iraq and let it fall or rise on its own weight.

It definitely is... US should let these people make their own decisions and take responsibility for them, now THAT is democracy!!!

I agree, let's pull out - it's none of our business. We can't impose freedom, democracy, or peace on anyone. It is up to them to fight for it.

Exactly, and now instead of dealing with their own internal issues, they have to deal with both the external American forces as well as internal disturbances... not an easy job to do!!!

since it was none of your business, and since this stupid war killed more than a million innocent people, then the ones who are responsible for this war should be punished. Now after they got involved they can’t just leave as if nothing has happened

Iraq had no terrirosm before.
Saddam only killed people who oppose him, not go in the middle of Baghdad with 2 tons of explosive and create chaos and destruction.

Saddam was a terroist, but now Iraq has thousands of saddams!

hey Keith, I’ve written a lot before about the Iraqi war, and I always write what u’ve just written up here (and of course I always got lashed by people commenting :P)... it is as simple as this: I’ve never heard of suicide bombings before the American invasion, this should tell us something... we all need to wake up...

Dont worry im sure freedom and democracy will solve all their problems.

Well, if it is the same definition of freedom and democracy set by America, then I wouldn’t be so sure!!!
